** 1 full-time, 12-month contractual Employment Support Coordinator position.**

Reporting to the Manager of Education, Employment, and Social Enterprise, the Employment Support Coordinator is a leadership role within the department and is responsible for the coordination of a team of Employment Support Workers, data collection and maintenance, support navigation, and training development.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensures coordination and collaboration with other programs and CFY teams involved in service delivery. Example: Rally Forward, Outreach.
- Coordinates and ensures data collection for the department in accordance with CFY guidelines and as per funder/government requirements.
- Creates and maintains data management tools.
- Sets training plans for Support staff.
- Leads goal setting for support-related strategic priorities and collective departmental goals.
- Responsible for assessment tools used for intake and Trainee learning plan development.
- Ensures best practice supportive employment models are communicated with support staff and social enterprise leads.
- Participate in department leadership meetings.
- Conduct hiring, staff appraisals, and performance assessments.
- Conducts any and all program communication as deemed required by federal funding requirements.
- Ensures a standard of support is created and provided to all trainees and youth who interact with the department.
- Informs supportive employment training which would be considered valuable for all department staff.
- Assists in conflict resolution with reporting staff.
- Works with staff to ensure all referrals are screened appropriately.
- Liaise with other youth-serving agencies, community partners, education, and employment programs.
- Ensures adherence to the CFY Policies and Procedures.
- Ensures a positive and solution-focused approach to work.
- Assist in budget creation.
- Maintain budget for education and supports for youth/trainees.
- Ensuring that youth support services are inclusive.
- Works collaboratively with Social Enterprise Leads to ensure a unified vision and goal.
- All other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree or a related degree in the social science field, preferably a master’s degree, in social work, education, or college equivalent.
- Experience in program development, budgeting, and leadership
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Understanding and experience working with vulnerable populations
- Versed in Career Assessment and Exploration
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check
- Access to a vehicle is required.

**WORK HOURS**
- The position will work 35 hours per week and flexibility in work hours will be required to accommodate youth and program needs and to accommodate higher work volumes and organizational requirements.

**COMPENSATION**
- The salary for this position is $62,517.00 - $69,942.60 annually. Choices for Youth offers a competitive compensation package, including a health and dental program, employer-matched RRSP, and four weeks’ vacation to qualifying employees.
