Java Jax Good Roast Coffee Inc. is an award winning, friendly new neighbourhood coffee shop in a trendy newly revitalized district. Main duties will include greeting customers, answering their questions about about our products, preparing, baking and serving food and drinks, taking orders and accepting payments.

The individual is also expected to work with their team to maintain a clean, sanitized, well stocked workplace, dining area, kitchen and washroom.

**NOTE Staff parking is not available**

Responsibilities;
- Welcoming Customers with a smile, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
- Educating guests by presenting and explaining beverage and culinary menus
- Preparing/ baking foods such as sandwiches, baked goods, drinks
- Packaging food and beverages for sale
- Generating revenue by attracting new guests and defining new expanded services
- Cleaning, sanitizing and restocking all work areas, washrooms, emptying trash
- Updating Signage and displays to attract customers
- Exceptional communication skills
- Available to a variety of shifts: work peak hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Safe Food Handlers certification is an asset
- Barista / cafe experience is **required**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
