This position requires the Team member to properly miter cut the moulding using the miter saw or table saw accordingly to the specified size and style of moulding. The cutter/joiner production team member performs all tasks involved in the production of the company's products. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Utilize mitre saw/table saw to cut wooden mouldings according to customer order
- Ensure quality of moulding is up to company standards prior to cutting
- Utilize equipment to join frames to company standards
- Communicate any issues to the supervisor/manager
- Comply with Roma Moulding Health & Safety policies and procedures including the use of safety materials, equipment, devices and clothing
- Keep work area neat and tidy
- Carry out any tasks that may be assigned by the Warehouse Lead or Supervisor in an effective and timely manner

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma required
- Prior Warehousing and/or order picking and/or framing experience is an asset
- Prior experience with mitre saws/table saws is an asset
- Ability to read and understand imperial measurement system (inches and feet)
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas of production
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for an extended amount of time
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
- Able to lift up to 60lbs.

**Working Conditions**:

- This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Please note however at times due to business requirements work outside of these hours may be required.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The position involves walking and lifting no more than 60 pounds.
