**Quelles seront mes fonctions dans ce poste?**: Vous devrez:

- analyser les déclarations et les demandes de remise relatives aux taxes à la consommation ainsi que les annexes afférentes afin de vérifier, de rapprocher, de documenter et d'approuver les paiements ou les refus de paiement conformément aux diverses dispositions législatives et lignes directrices;
- analyser les demandes afin d'enregistrer les clients et d'émettre des justificatifs d'identité, des certificats d'enregistrement, des permis, des licences et des autocollants;
- étudier et résoudre les problèmes de conformité ou les écarts juridiques en examinant l'enregistrement des clients et les exigences de présentation des demandes, en vérifiant les soldes débiteurs et créditeurs, en contrevérifiant les données transactionnelles et en menant des rapprochements de comptes;
- maintenir l'intégrité du programme d'exonération de la taxe sur l'essence pour les Premières Nations et de l'administration de la partie de l'Ontario de la taxe de vente harmonisée (TVH) en examinant, en vérifiant et en approuvant les demandes de remise, en accordant des exonérations et en donnant suite aux demandes des détaillants et des particuliers touchés par le programme d'exonération de la taxe sur l'essence pour les Premières Nations;
- recommander des renvois de comptes aux services de vérification, de conseils fiscaux ou d'inspection;
- fournir aux cadres des suggestions d'amélioration des systèmes d'administration des taxes, des impôts et des revenus.

**À quelles exigences dois-je répondre?**:
**Ce qui est obligatoire**:

- Maîtrise du français oral de niveau avancé. Votre niveau de maîtrise sera évalué avant l'embauche.

**Connaissances techniques**:

- connaissance des dispositions législatives sur les taxes à la consommation, des programmes générateurs de revenus et des ententes afférentes de l'Ontario qu'administre le ministère des Finances afin de déterminer l'admissibilité à des remboursements, d'expliquer les exigences sur l'enregistrement et la production de rapports, d'analyser les demandes de remise, les déclarations et les annexes et de délivrer des avis de refus;
- compréhension des programmes provinciaux, fédéraux et municipaux favorisant la conformité ou capacité de les comprendre;
- connaissance des principes et des pratiques de comptabilité générale ainsi que connaissance des structures des entités juridiques complexes.

**Aptitudes pour l'analyse et la recherche ainsi que discernement**:

- aptitudes pour la recherche afin d'étudier les écarts financiers en passant en revue les dispositions législatives et les politiques;
- aptitudes marquées pour l'analyse afin de passer en revue diverses demandes de remise et annexes justificatives et de déterminer si elles sont exactes, dûment remplies et admissibles aux exonérations de taxe et remises, de valider les exigences d'enregistrement et de déterminer avec exactitude les structures des entités juridiques;
- aptitudes supérieures pour l'exercice de discernement afin d'étudier et de recommander le paiement ou le refus,
