Duties:

- Perform alterations and repairs on clothing items
- Take measurements to ensure proper fit
- Sew, stitch, and hem garments using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Replace buttons, zippers, and other fasteners as needed
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requests and preferences
- Provide recommendations on garment care and maintenance

**Skills**:

- Proficient in basic math for measuring and calculating fabric requirements
- Excellent sewing skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties
- Ability to use sewing machines, sergers, and other tailoring tools effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and understand their needs
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M9L 2R7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
