Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Food Production team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspecting incoming and outbound product to determine whether they meet quality standards.
- Monitoring finished products to confirm their compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborating with the Plant Manager and production leads to ensure food safety and quality goals are met.
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety, CFIA, and HACCP regulations to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
- Communicating quality standards to the QA team and other appropriate staff.
- Training production employees to meet quality standards in all areas of the production process.
- Attending meetings with senior management to report on and discuss quality control issues.
- Developing and implementing new plans and programs, including food safety plans, sanitation plans, and other documentation as needed to improve our quality assurance systems.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and performing administrative duties associated with the role.
- Solving work related issues as they arise.
- Other duties as required**.**

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in food quality assurance
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field
- Ability to manage a busy work schedule with a variety of tasks and deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and expectations for food production operations
- Ability to deal with complex issues.

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
