**Job Summary**:
As an **Assistant Archivist** for our **Archives **team at the **Laval **location, you will ensure proper organization, indexing, labeling, and storing of study related and non-study related material.

In this role, primary **responsibilities **include:

- Receives the material to be stored as indicated by the Study plan and procedures. Retrieves the stored material when required;
- Ensure to maintain up to date the electronic inventory of stored, pre-archived and archived material;
- Ensures proper indexing, location tracking and movement of material during the reception, retrieval, shipment, and disposal processes; Preparation of clients records and ensures the accuracy of the information related to shipment or disposal of material.**Key Elements**:
We are looking for the following **minimum qualifications** for this role:

- AEC or DEC in Archiving, Administration or equivalent;
- Able to work physically (lift up to 15 kg);
- Be able to work in team;
- Ability to adapt to change and have a positive attitude;
- Good organizational skills.

**Role Specific Information**:

- **Location**: 445 Boul. Armand-Frappier, Laval, QC, H7V 4B3;
- ** Transportation**: Free parking. Near the Montmorency Subway. Electric vehicle charging station;
- ** Salary**: 18.75$/hrs;
- Annual bonus based on performance;
- ** Schedule**: Monday to Friday between 8am to 4:15pm. Depending on the business needs, you may have to do overtime;
- Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week.

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
