Founded in Ottawa in 1982 to meet a market requirement for custom designed, not-off-the-shelf power supplies, ABSOPULSE has designed and built thousands of power conversion products that operate in the field with high reliability. The company’s line of professional quality power conversion products includes AC-DC power supplies, rectifiers and battery chargers, DC-DC power converters, DC-AC sine wave inverters, AC-AC phase and frequency converters (single and three-phase), complete power systems in 19″ and 23″ racks, DC-input backlight inverters and electronic ballasts.

**Positions open**

We are looking for test technicians to join in our team, which is at the west end of Ottawa (110 Walgreen Rd, Ottawa, ON K0A 1L0).

**Requirements**:

- Test and repair switching power supplies (DC/DC and AC/DC) using digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, load bank, PFC meter, as well as various types of analog and digital equipment;
- Test low voltage and high voltage power supplies;
- Test and evaluate performance of prototype and/or production models;
- Ability to work with speed and confidence in order to maintain production schedules;
- Ability to document test results, analyse data and make recommendations on possible product improvement;
- Comprehension of technical drawings, data sheets and written work instructions;
- Experience in electronics industry;
- Comfortable working in a multi-national environment;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- CARP, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Test Technician: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
