Under the supervision of the Chef, the Dishwasher/ Steward’s primary responsibility is to operate the dishwashing machine. The Steward/dishwasher is responsible for cleaning duties as well as helping the cooks with the kitchen prep as directed.

**YOUR ROLE**
- Basic prep of food items for service
- Keep the dishwashing area organized, tidy and clean
- Set up the dishwashing area and operate the dishwashing machine
- Regularly clean the machines
- Manual dishwashing
- Keep the outside area clean, free of litter, and swept if necessary
- Keep the garbage containers emptied and cleaned
- Take garbage bags/receptacles to the garbage room
- Assist when needed

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Able to work with a team and independently
- Professional, enthusiastic, energetic
- Attention to detail
- Able to work and communicate well within the team
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to lift up to 50lb, reach, bend, push, and stoop
- Able to work in a standing position for up to 5 hours
- 20-24 hours per week,
- 3-4 shifts. Evenings, closing 10-11:30 pm.
- Additional hours depending on business volume.
