**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to promote emotional healing and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including data collection and documentation of treatment progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including MVA providing treatment plans for same, and case managers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Stay informed about current research in child psychology and implement best practices in therapy.
- Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills in pediatric therapy.
**Skills**
- Experience working with MVA in a clinical or educational setting is essential.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Proficient in data collection methods for assessing client progress.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to mental health care.
- Strong research skills to stay updated on the latest developments in psychotherapy practices.
- Effective case management abilities to coordinate care among various stakeholders involved in a child's well-being.
- Experience working within clinical settings or similar environments is preferred.
