**Position Description**:
**UNIT SUMMARY**

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post graduate diploma in Medical Laboratory
- CSMLS (formerly CSLT) certificate
- CMLTO registration
- Minimum of 3 years current experience in all aspects of Histology
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills are essential
- Practical Exam may be part of the interview process

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Some duties and responsibilities include:
- Embedding, cutting (microtomy), staining, specials, frozen section
- Assisting in gross room
- Ability to troubleshoot stains, tissue processor, etc.

**HOURS OF WORK**
Monday to Friday; Days
