The Speech Associates in Ontarios largest Speech and ABA therapy network. We service thousands of families a year, and are dedicated to improving access and support for speech therapy to people across the province.
Our team of 100+ clinicians and full-time staff bring their expertise, cultural knowledge and education from an expansive variety of backgrounds to create an ideal network for parent choice, and flexibility with their child’s speech therapy.
For almost 20 years, the Speech Associates has strived to stay a leader for speech therapy by working with leading partners in speech therapy for student placements, approvals, and opportunities including The University of Toronto, CAMH, and the Ontario Autism Program.
**Position Overview**
As the Operations Manager, Clinician Administration, you will oversee and manage clinician systems, programs, processes, and initiatives in alignment with the overall admin-clinician organization.
In this role, you will oversee all clinician-related processes including clinician scheduling, performance management, and client intake processes, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
This role spans various disciplines, including client or practitioner management, organization structure management, employee enablement, performance management, learning and development, and regulatory compliance management.
**Key Role Components**:
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the administration of clinician programs to enhance service delivery and patient care outcomes.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clinician or client matters, managing resources to ensure service quality and clinician support.
- Acting as liaison and partner between clinicians and the administrative team, supporting the integration of clinical care with business operations
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and administrative teams to prioritize tasks, implement solutions, and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee the management of internal systems, including patient accounts, insurance, and confidential financial information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate data entry and system updates to ensure seamless workflows and operational efficiency.
- Educate patients and families on care team processes, including assessments, treatments, billing structures, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in patient intake, registration, and clinician scheduling while supporting recruitment and student placement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements by adhering to professional standards in all clinical and administrative practices.
**Qualifications**:
- A university or college degree in Health Sciences, Business, Management, or equivalent work experience **OR **equivalent experience; a Regulated Health Professional designation is considered an asset.
- 3-6 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in community-based health care or clinical settings.
- A passion for helping provide therapy/resources to others.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of achieving desired outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong data analysis and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, Google Workspace Suite, and relevant healthcare software.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and legislation, including RHP Act, OH&S Act, CASLPO, CPBAO, and PHIPA considered a strength.
- Criminal background and vulnerable sector screening required; must comply with vaccination requirements unless medically exempt.
**Job Type**: Hybrid - Full time contractor 6 month period with option to transition to salaried employee after a six month period including extended health benefits and bonus
**Work Hours**:The Operations Manager, Clinician Administration role is a full time 40-hour per week position. Hours for the performance of the services are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. This position is a hybrid model and will be based out of the Toronto Office located at 176 St.George Street, Monday to Thursday with WFH Friday and the potential for additional hybrid-flex days to be added after the 6 month contractor period.
**Pay Range**: $65,000-$70,000
**Expected start date**: 2024-10-15 - 2024-10-24
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
