We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. Your primary role will be to visit location, report an incident and submit report. Respond to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity and create a report.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry of individuals
- Respond promptly to any security alarm or emergencies, including but not limited to theft, vandalism, or emergencies.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary during investigations or incidents
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and clients with any security-related inquiries or concerns

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in security with minimum 6 months of experience.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Must have a reliable car and valid license.
- Familiarity with alarm systems, access control systems, and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in security-related fields are a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $19.55-$20.99 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
