**OVERVIEW**

**The British Columbia Conservatory of Music **is a post secondary institution that specializes in music education. We strive to see students develop their skills through the highest level of education. Our Administrative Team Members are committed to making all aspects of music education a success.

**PURPOSE**

Administrative Team Members are responsible for maintaining seamless registration and enrollment processes. Additionally, they are responsible for assisting students, parents, and faculty members through the management and organization of administrative systems and operations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greeting Visitors and Students
- Answering phones
- Scheduling student/instructor interviews
- Preparing and submitting student invoices and receipts
- Maintaining a seamless registration and enrollment process
- Maintaining BCCM administrative systems
- General organization of schedules and students
- Ensuring the proper upkeep of records and registration processes for events and enrollment

**SKILLS**
- Customer Service
- Competency in Microsoft Work, Excel, and CRMs
- Ability to learn and use student information systems, online programs, and administrative systems proficiently
- Ability to accurately communicate information with team members and students using multiple methods of communication
- Attention to detail

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC V5C 2K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
