**OVERVIEW**:
From corrugated packaging, paper bags, retail displays, pre-print, supply and inventory management, paper mills and recycling, Atlantic is strategically positioned to provide customers with a total packaging solution.
**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage the corporate-level IT infrastructure operations at Atlantic Packaging. As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our information systems and network infrastructure. You will lead a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's technology infrastructure.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the company's IT infrastructure, aligning it with business objectives and future growth plans.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support of the company's network infrastructure, servers, storage systems, data centers, and telecommunications systems.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure efficient and effective infrastructure management.
- System Performance and Reliability: Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of the IT infrastructure, implementing proactive measures to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate, select, and implement IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of potential disruptions.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Plan and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and alignment with business priorities.
- Project Management: Lead infrastructure-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and system integrations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to understand their technology needs, provide technical guidance, and support their business objectives.
**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience 7 + years in IT infrastructure management, preferably at the corporate level.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server infrastructure, storage systems, and telecommunications.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of IT professionals.
- Understanding of security best practices and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Industry certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP are a plus.
