Supporting and assisting Youth and Women with case management and programming geared towards assisting victims of domestic violence gain their independence

Responsibilities and Obligations

Develops, implements, and evaluates age-appropriate programming in collaboration with the house supervisor to satisfy community needs.

supervises participants in programmes and fosters relationships with them.

ensures adherence to policies, safe equipment use, conflict resolution, and the execution of special activities to promote a secure and enjoyable environment.

aids in educating and acclimating volunteers to activities and events, as well as seeing to it that programmes are advertised.

helps to collect programme statistics.

Support, criticism, suggestions for new programmes, help with problem-solving, and task delegation are all offered.

Helps with member conduct and discipline issues as needed.

aids in the creation of programme budgets.

creates and carries out fundraising plans.

maintains the facility's and the equipment's cleanliness, safety, and inventory management.

creates and updates a plan for community promotions.

carries out youth leadership training and puts a mentoring scheme into place.

other tasks as needed.

Participate in meetings as needed.

**Qualifications**:
Successful completion of a diploma or degree in Youth support worker or Social Services.

Experience working with youth and Women

Completion of a Standard First Aid course.

Vulnerable Sector Check

Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Must enjoy working with Youth and Women

Must have a valid driver's license.

Computer skills a definite asset.

Must be willing to work evenings and occasional weekends

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
