**Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and classroom activities using computerized systems.
- Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with special education needs.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
- Organize classroom materials and resources to ensure an efficient learning space.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a childcare or teaching role is highly desirable.
- Having CPR and Police check for working full time in daycare
- Strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., French) are a plus.
- Familiarity with special education practices is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a structured classroom environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
