Accounting Manager

Brayford Sod Farms, a well-established, family-owned business in the Alliston area, is searching for a suitable person to join our team.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- All general accounting functions including accounts receivable & accounts payable
- Billing, processing receipts including credit card payments and EFTs
- Company payroll (paid via direct deposit), calculate payroll deductions and submit payments to government, issue employee ROEs as required
- Government remittances as required, HST, WSIB
- Customer service and sales
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
- Assist with year-end financial activities and work with external accountants to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

**Qualifications include**:

- 5+ years of experience in accounting and administration
- Proficient use of Sage accounting software preferred
- Excellent ability to organize, manage multiple tasks and prioritize
- Strong work ethic, communication skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Experience with MS Office
- General office administration

Competitive salary, based on qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
