Store Operations Specialist

**We are looking for our next Store Operations Specialist. Could it be you?**
The **Store Operations Specialist** will work very closely with the Store Operations Team, Area Managers, Franchise Partners, Store Managers and Meal Advisors in M&M Food Market Stores across Canada to ensure that all M&M team members and store locations are informed, and operating at the highest levels, according to our brand standards and consumer promise.
Regular and sometimes extended travel across Canada is required in this role. This team member will be in-store approximately 70% of their time (3-4 days per week). Extended travel includes travel by car or plane for periods of 2-3 days or up to 2 weeks at a time, depending on the needs at the store.
**In this role you will have a variety of responsibilities, including**:
- Lead the tasks that need to be completed in relation to Store renovations and Store ownership transfers
- Participate in the creation of store operations materials.
- Deliver operations assistance and training in store, with both small and large groups.
- Identify areas of concern/opportunity in performance and provide ongoing support as required.
- Utilize excellent communication and coaching skills to transfer ideas, engage, and motivate all Franchise Partners, Store Managers and Meal Advisors, to successfully meet brand standards and create a culture of performance.
- Launch and support learning for in-store programs such as general merchandise, sampling, product of the month, customer service, store operations, marketing promotions, product knowledge, huddles and other basket building programs.
- Have the ability to influence and quickly gain rapport with Franchise Partners, Store Managers and Meal Advisors.
- Exceptional multi-tasking capabilities in order to successfully handle multiple and changing priorities.

**So, are you our next** **Specialist, Operations and Partner Relations (Express)? You could be if you have**,
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the specialty retail, food retail, or QSR industry, including experience managing and training retail employees.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
- Experience in a Franchise system is an asset.
- Superior and highly professional relationship building, interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently, handle multiple demands and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to travel throughout Canada with schedule flexibility to accommodate operational needs, including evenings, weekends and extended periods of travel. This position requires overnight and sometimes extended travel.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, which include lifting up to 40lbs, standing, walking.
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record, as well as a reliable vehicle. Must be of age to rent a car when travelling.
