**Job Summary**

As an Assistant to Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and profitable planning, organization, direction and control of the respective vehicle sales department, including manpower forecasting, obtaining projected sales, implementing and maintain all corporate initiatives, and bottom-line results

As the Assistant to Sales Manager, your yearly goals, strategies and corporate initiatives will be jointly discussed and agreed to between you and the senior management team. Due to this agreement, it is expected, and you are directed to achieve and indeed exceed the monthly goals established at the annual strategic meeting.

Your progress in achieving these goals will be monitored by the Key Performance Indicators (K.P.I) as are listed. These are the matrixes by which we - your management team - will monitor your development with on a regular basis.

As part of the sales team, you will be required to consistently display the highest level of professionalism and integrity in any activity involving the corporation. It is your responsibility to constantly work towards achieving the Tony Graham Automotive Group’s common goals to ensure the overall success of the corporation. In so doing, you must uphold the manufacturers and the Tony Graham Automotive Group’s image and values and ensure that all our team does so as well.

**What you offer**

**General Areas of Responsibility**

Assistant to Sales Manager, in the performance of their duties, is responsible for the following:

- Assists in directing and scheduling the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing always.
- Assists in lease portfolio.
- Inventory Management -New & Used-buying, selling, etc
- Plans, monitors, and achieves the dealership’s New & Used vehicle sales targets.
- Assists in developing the sales department budget and minimizing expenses.
- Assists in appraising vehicle.
- Help the sales manager maintain the New & Used car department.
- Attends Manager meetings as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned

**Education and Qualification**
- Valid Driver’s Licence and acceptable Driver’s Abstract
- Clean driving record, and reporting to management any circumstances regarding the status of this license
- Valid OMVIC Sales License

**Language**
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Bilingualism, an asset

**Skills & Abilities**
- Mature personality and sound judgement skills
- Excellent computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of vehicle sales software an asset
- Detail oriented
