We are looking for an Accounts Payable and Disbursements Agent reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader in the North American Shared Services Centre to assist us in making payments on our accounts payable. In this role, you will make a significant contribution to maintaining our payment processes in order to maintain good business relationships with our suppliers. **YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Produce and transmit payments to suppliers within the required timeframe for various BRP entities and in compliance with the work planning, procedures and controls in place.

Perform various checks for payment completeness and fraud and prepare the necessary documentation for management approval of payments.

Maintain outstanding checks, the vendor banking database and payment exception list.

Participate in the payment method optimization project to ensure that the most efficient and least expensive method is selected for each supplier.

Provide expertise on disbursements for projects, internal controls or external audits.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A university degree, optionally accounting.

2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Functional knowledge of English, both oral and written.

Excellent work organization, autonomy, attention to detail, honesty and integrity.

Knowledge of SAP software.

Communication and teamwork skills.

Availability to work during BRP’s periods of closure (e.g. summer or other periods, as needed).
