The Janssen Technology organization provides technology direction and product management to the Commercial franchises in Canada. Technologists provide leadership around demand management, product management, business process/analysis, quality, and compliance.

**Overview**:
This Manager will serve as a Technology Leader supporting the BioAdvance organization. This team is driven by our dedication to patients, bringing innovative products, services, and solutions to Canadian patients. The business and technology teams are responsible for the program excellence and innovation, constantly improving the single largest PSP program in Canada. In partnership, they will own the BioAdvance product(s) vision and prioritization of new technical features and/or enhancements, be accountable for the technology delivery contributing to value realization and growth. This leader will also ensure clear people, process, and technology alignment across platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Business Technology Leader(s) and the BioAdvance business to understand business strategy, planning and business service offerings.
- Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing features, optimizing cost, and improving delivery efficiency.
- Manage a diverse team of technology consultants, empowering and coaching the team to perform to the best of their abilities.
- Translates business to functional requirements, enabling the product(s) team to seamlessly deliver solutions.
- Oversight of the demand intake and prioritization, products backlogs, product constraints and risks and release management process.
- Own the definition of product(s) standards, including overall design and features, development standards, testing and master data structures.
- Drive the selection of solution options and approaches, work with the product(s) team to assess technology elements of the solution.
- Collaborate across product teams to tackle complexity, combination solutions and opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure compliance and process adherence across technologies, while maintaining the program’s agility.
- Facilitate change control ensuring engagement of stakeholders, impact analysis, risk assessments, training, and communication plans.
- Vendor management, ensuring the Product(s) are resourced (efforts, schedules, and costs)
- Oversee technology operations, following ITIL methodologies.
- Financial/budget management
- Drive measurement of capabilities against demand volume, complexity, business challenges and improvement within value stream(s)
- Support a positive team culture enabling an authentic and open environment that appreciates diverse experiences and perspectives.

**Qualifications**:

- A University degree in Information Technology or a Business related program.
- A minimum of 7 years of technology systems or product management experience is required.
- Prior experience leading teams is required.
- Experience with Reporting (Tableau) is an asset.
- Prior knowledge of patient experience in healthcare is preferred.
- Experience in defining and building a robust technology strategy including the ability to understand, shape and measure the business value of solutions.
- Demonstrate ability to influence, support change and build collaborative partnerships, teams, and trust across functions.
- Product Management experience leading medium/large platforms including financials/budgets.
- Detail oriented with strong critical thinking skills with the ability of accurately analyzing situations and reach decisions.
- Strong learning agility, adaptable, resourceful and takes initiative.
- Fosters the value of innovation with experience with tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking.
