Summer at Perimeter is busy and we need your help. We have summer student positions available throughout the institute beginning in May and running through August 2023.
As the **Multimedia Content Specialist **Summer Student** you are a well-organized individual who is highly motivated by an opportunity to help conceive, create, and deliver relevant multimedia content to Perimeter’s target audiences by assisting in curating, editing and optimizing video content that enhances the reputation and brand of Perimeter.
- Primary Duties_:

- While working in collaboration with other Perimeter departments, the Multimedia Content Specialist Summer Student will contribute to projects such as:

- Curating, editing, and repurposing video content including excerpts from lectures, podcasts, explanatory videos, researcher profiles
- Optimizing digital/video content for various platforms and social channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
- Developing digital content (imagery, video, audio) that reinforces Perimeter messaging and showcases PI research, training, outreach, recruitment, and fundraising efforts
- What you need to have:_
- Proven video-editing and training experience
- Senior courses from a communications, public relations, journalism, or related program
- An interest in physics and science is an asset
- Familiarity with digital tools and trends (web, social media)
- Experience in digital communications, social media
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Some graphic design experience an asset
- Curious, creative, collaborator
