**About the role**

We’re looking for a Claims Assistant II to join our Dispatch Team
You will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and front-line quality customer service in the settlement of insurance claims within the Ontario Appraisal Unit.

**What you'll do here**:

- Prepare forms and correspondence to insurance clients, vendors and legal representatives.
- Manage file storage and retrieval process for closed files.
- Provide various administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, etc.
- Process, coordinate, sort appraisal request submissions.
- Dispatch appraisal assignments to Intact Appraisal staff based on geographic locations and skill sets.
- Aiding as support to Field Appraisers
- Managing and generating reports.
- Working alongside other departments to ensure the fluidity of our appraisal processes.
- Identify process improvements to management.

**What you bring to the table**:

- High School or College Diploma including business/administration training or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Ability to consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed.
- Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
