**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Coordinate workshop activities, including work in progress, customer support, and operations, to ensure optimal customer service.
- Evaluate work required on equipment slated for repairs, identify customer needs, and plan execution accordingly.
- Review and take necessary actions on work orders to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to and enforce all established procedures and standards (ISO 9001-2008).
- Respond to service calls from existing and potential customers, assisting with technical questions and emergency service requests.
- Personally handle repairs on both complex and standard equipment.
- Support the Inventory Supervisor in managing and controlling stock levels.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including stock transfers and incoming pumps.
- Coordinate and schedule service calls and follow up with customers as needed.
- Assist with planning and executing service contracts, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
- Occasionally respond to emergency calls, including traveling to customer locations at any time to resolve identified issues.
- Coordinate building maintenance activities to ensure a safe and well-maintained workspace.
**HR Management Responsibilities**:
- Directly supervise all service team members, including technicians, administrators, and helpers.
- Ensure all team members understand their roles and are given opportunities to grow within the company.
- Oversee time and vacation management in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Conduct annual employee appraisals, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback and development plans (minimum of three reviews per year).
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all team members.
- Assist in budget preparation for the service department.
- Undertake any additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
**Education and Qualifications Required**:
- A vocational school diploma in Industrial Mechanics.
- Six to eight years of experience in an industrial environment, ideally involving the repair and servicing of pumps, including some experience as a team leader or supervisor.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Functional proficiency in a second language, where required.
- Strong ability to coordinate and supervise the work of others.
- Excellent analytical thinking, teamwork, social skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
