**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our dynamic team as the Caretaker for our new affordable housing project. The Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations, maintenance, and tenant relations of our property.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
Performs daily maintenance and janitorial duties.

Responds to building-related issues.

Performs minor repairs such as painting, re-setting thermostats, replacing hardware, light bulb replacement, and snaking drains/toilets.

Manages key allocation for tenants and access for contractors.

Distributes information to tenants and others as required.

Tracks and orders necessary supplies and equipment.

**Qualifications**

Grade 12 or equivalent level of education.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a building caretaker or manager.

Familiarity with MS Office, Excel spreadsheets and property management programs; some familiarity with accounting software and database software an asset.

Strong people skills and experience in the non-profit housing sector an asset.

Ability to take initiative and work independently.

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$53,500.00 per year
