Financial Services Assistant

KB Financial Solutions is a growing financial advisory firm specializing in personalized financial planning, mortgage solutions, and insurance services. We are seeking a Financial Services Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting financial operations in a client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Support and Administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses.
- Assist in onboarding new clients by gathering and organizing required documentation.
- Prepare and organize materials for client meetings, such as financial summaries, reports, and presentations.
2. Financial Data Management
- Assist in compiling and analyzing financial data to support the creation of personalized financial plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client portfolios and key financial metrics.
- Generate periodic client reports to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Operational and Administrative Tasks
- Manage and update client information in the CRM system to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Schedule client meetings and maintain the advisor’s calendar to optimize workflow.
- Monitor and report on business performance metrics for internal planning.
4. Marketing and Business Development Support
- Help organize and promote workshops, webinars, and client events.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for expanding services.
5. Compliance and Confidentiality
- Ensure all activities adhere to industry regulations and internal policies.
- Handle sensitive client information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
What You Bring
- Education:
Diploma or degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a financial services, client service, or administrative role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Wealthbox, HubSpot, or Redtail) is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
