**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are currently looking for a Building Manager for a residential property (Strata) based in North Vancouver. This is a support position for the Lead Building Manager. This will be a part time position. The Building Manager is responsible for interaction between residents, the strata council and the property manager and to oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the building.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage and supervise the site as directed by Lead Building Manager
- Perform minor handyman repairs. Monitor and maintain garbage and recycling room
- Basic security detail: checking doors, reporting suspicious activity
- Key holding and alarm response. Fob and enterphone programming
- Call trades in the event of elevator malfunction, flood, plumbing, police, fire, ambulance
- Coordinate and log move in / out booking
- Collect damage deposits for move in / outs
- Perform pre/post inspections with the resident
- Administrative duties (post notice, collect funds for additional fobs / keys, submit actively reports to PM)
- Monitor and address parking violations and improper usage of parking areas
- Consistent communication with property manager to ensure the building is secure, maintained and running smoothly
- Submit caretaker reports regularity (frequency upon PM's request)
- Great residents and guests. Respond promptly to tenant questions and requests
- Report concerning issues with tenant / residents to PM
- Respond to noise and smoking complaints

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience in facility management, preferably in residential settings
- Reliable and punctual
- Possess a keen eye for detail. Customer service experience is an asset
- This role involves occasional use of equipment like leaf blowers and pressure washers, with full training provided
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, are essential for this role
- This role includes the opportunity to take the lead and oversee operations during periods when the Lead Building manager is unavailable
- Ability to deal with residents in a professional, positive, and friendly manner
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision in the same time be ready to take direction from the Lead Building manager

**Schedule**:Optional (Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday) or (Saturday/ Sunday/ Monday)

**Working hours**: 8 am - 4 pm; Job Type: Part-time

**Pay**: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Facilities maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
- Building manager: 2 years (preferred)
