**Who We Are**:
At Acrylic, we’re on a mission to build the fine art creation tools of the future and make art accessible to all while making it easier for creators to earn a living. We leverage robotics and machine learning to enable visual artists to produce textured artwork made with real paint on canvas — at scale.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

This summer is an exciting time for Acrylic We’re fresh from a year of hardcore tech development and gearing up for the launch of our first collections. You’ll play a key role in helping us successfully bring our product to market. As a business development intern, you will:

- Manage artist relations, including onboarding artists and providing customer success functions.
- Perform customer outreach such as engaging corporate partners, art institutions, and art communities.
- Source and develop sales opportunities with corporate art buyers.
- Research and analyze potential business opportunities.
- Assist in the development of business development plans and strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering or a related field.
- Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Passion for business development and start-up culture.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Interest in market research and market analysis.

**Nice to haves**:

- Prior experience in fine art (you’re an artist, you’ve worked at a gallery, you collect, you’re tied into the art ecosystem in some way)
- Graphic design or branding experience
- Previous sales and customer relations experience
- Creative: photography, videography, graphic design, etc.
- Interest in art, tech, NFTs, blockchain, digital art, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
