Pnuematic Aircraft Component Repair Technician

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
Ø **Perform maintenance task, repair/overhaul of Air Cycle Machine and related components**
Ø **Read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletin, Technical Specification, Drawings, Company Maintenance and Policy Manuals**
Ø **Have mechanical background to disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, replace parts, assemble and test units**
Ø **Able to perform detail work in assembly and highspeed balancing of rotating components**
Ø **Measure parts wear by using precision instruments**
Ø **Record all maintenance tasks carried out on work order packages**
Ø **Ensuring inspection tools, test equipment used are in proper working order, and properly calibrated**
Ø **Hands on experience with mechanical aptitude is required**
Ø **Must own basic mechanical hand tools**
Ø **Attention to detail**
Ø **Transport Canada regulations require applicant to have good English language skills in reading and writing**
Ø **Ability to function as part of high-performance team**
Ø **Effective communication, both verbally and written**
Ø **Other tasks and duties as assigned**
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
Ø 4-5 years experience Aircraft Air Cycle Machine overhaul/repair with a TC approved AMO
Ø Possess in-depth knowledge of the day-to-day functions of a TC Approved AMO & CARs 571 maintenance requirements as it pertains the repair and overhaul of Air Cycle Machines and components.
Ø 3-4 years aircraft component repair/overhaul experience or equivalent
Ø Strong troubleshooting skills an asset
Ø 3 years experience in high-speed rotating components and balancing
Ø Working knowledge of Component Control MRO software Quantum would be an asset
