**Boston Pizza at Bingemans is looking for an Assistant General Manager**

Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will ensure that all Boston Pizza guests are provided with the best experience possible, and all responsibilities are conducted in a professional manner.

What will you be doing?
- Work closely with the GM in managing the daily operations of the business to create a positive, safe, and profitable working environment
- Manage employees by building strong teamwork and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs
- Delegate daily work assignments for all FOH employees
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant and within the organization as a whole
- Provide outstanding guest satisfaction and service, modelling the highest level of guest care in every interaction
- Ensure that employees are informed of and adhering to all Bingemans company standards and policies
- Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are in place and adhered to every shift.
- Provide Leadership, problem solving, and decision making that supports the safety and profitability of the business
- Meet and maintain accountability and profitability of restaurant P+L areas as determined by operating standards, budgets, and targets
- Order, purchase, and stock supplies according to timeline and budget
- Assist the GM in recruiting, training, payroll, performance evaluations, staff development and coaching, and terminations
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to staff
- Measure and evaluate service standards and key performance indicators
- Develop and implement plans for continuous service improvements to meet targets and budgets
- Develop positive working relationships with the associate departments to ensure proper operational support
- Representing Bingemans comprehensively as a multi-faceted organization to our guests, as they intersect across different departments
- Identify and report equipment repair, maintenance needs or technical issues in the proper channels and timelines
- Assist the General Manager with all aspects of restaurant operations
- Other duties as required.

- Able to work on feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
- Smart Serve Certification
- Standard First Aid/CPRC/AED certification
- Food Safety Certification
- Post Secondary Education in Restaurant Management/Hospitality Management preferred.
- Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience required.
