**ASSISTED LIVING SUPERVISOR**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Client Services Manager-Assisted Living, you will provide leadership, supervision, and coordination to ensure effective and safe delivery of personal support, homemaking services and developing chronic disease management programming to clients. You will also complete client assessment and develop care plans and monitor clients’ needs.

**_Full-time position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rotational on call duties. _**

Occasional work outside of business hours to attend organization-related functions and flexibility for support during extraordinary and/or emergency situations.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Social Service Worker/Gerontology diploma combined with five (5) years’ experience with seniors in a community setting or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Excellent skills in risk, crisis, and conflict management along with strong customer service skills.
- Exceptional communication, telephone, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated teaching, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task and achieve successful results.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation.
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this position.
- Experience working with the Residential Assessment Instrument Community Home Assessment tool (RAI CHA) an asset.
- Current CPR/first aid certification, an asset
- Scheduling experience an asset.
- Fluency in both official languages
