Painter

_**Do you have a passion for marine craftsmanship and experience in the yacht or marine industry?**_

We are looking for experienced yacht painters - interior & exterior finishing - for work on yachts from 25' to 125'
- know the appropriate painting techniques for different materials: metals, fiberglass, and wood, both spray, brush or roll & tip
- have worked with a variety of marine-grade paints including epoxy, polyurethane, and varnish - familiarity with Awlgrip and Alexseal an asset
- will include removal & reinstallation of hardware & equipment, working in coordination with other departments
- work may be inside our facilities or outside on the dock
- able to work with teams or alone
- ability to communicate effectively is a requirement as we are all working together to achieve yacht-quality work while meeting scheduled deadlines
- comfortable working at heights - fall arrest training an asset
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces
- aware of safety precautions, including wearing of respirators, gloves, coveralls
- understand the need to maintain painting equipment & tools, as well as the importance of a clean, safe & organized environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
