Position Summary:
- Carry out research projects and execute predefined protocols, methodologies, and procedures, often with mínimal supervision- Perform & and supports the creation and implementation of experiments, data collection, laboratory work, and compilation and analysis of data.- Analyzes and interprets research data and disseminates the results. Keeps detailed research logbook.- Write papers or articles related to research activities.- Keeps up with the current literature on assigned projects.-
- Responsible for the quality and results of their own work.- Provide technical guidance and training to Undergraduate/Graduate Student in the execution of tasks related to research projects.- Bi-weekly consult with supervisor on progress.- This is a part-time position with a 6 month contract.- Contract Period: June 03, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

Qualifications:
- Minimum master’s degree plus at least 2 years relevant experience.- PhD in Biochemistry with strong experience in analysis of IFIT proteins using structural biology and previous experience in working in Prof. Bhushan Nagar lab is preferred.

Knowledge of French and English:
- McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.- The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0-4.
