Equitus Partners LLP is currently looking for a self-motivated and eager-to-contribute individual to join our team as their Manager, Accounting Services for a full-time permanent position.

**Your primary responsibilities will include the following**:

- To manage the workflow of a team of accounting technicians to ensure clients’ needs and deadlines are met.
- Onboard new clients and migrate existing clients to cloud accounting (e.g. QuickBooks Online, Xero, etc.)
- Provide general bookkeeping services and related tasks to a diverse portfolio of clients. This includes, but is not limited to, recording of sales, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, payroll transactions, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and review client files to ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance returns and schedules.
- Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, and develop resolutions to resolve issues and errors.
- Communicate with government agencies regarding information requests, reviews, assessments, and installments.
- Preparation of personal tax returns as required;
- Completion of other accounting-related duties as required.
- 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience is preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of cloud accounting software including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and various related apps.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with adaptability to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional manner, and ability to work independently and in a team environment
