Through the OnDeck platforms, small businesses can obtain affordable loans and merchant cash advance in a much more convenient and customer-friendly way.

**The opportunity**:
You would be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our existing customer base. You will meet sales objectives by collaborating with various sales channels and renewing funding for your designated client base.

**Get paid to**:

- Manage your own customer portfolio of existing and past clients and anticipate capital needs
- Plan daily and weekly activities to achieve renewal sales budget and metrics
- Retain current customer base by developing a trusted advisor relationship with customers and by providing exceptional service
- Find and create incremental business opportunities and drive closure within dedicated customer account base
- Reconnect with previously active clients to offer additional new financing products
- Handle client objections and negotiate terms related to funding
- Send proposals to prospective clients
- Perform administrative functions related to completing a prospect's file and perform data entry as required
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure internal process completion
- Ensure timely and accurate updates to Salesforces including sales activities, prospective company information etc.
- Meet monthly/quarterly and yearly renewal sales targets and performance metrics set for the individual and communicate on progress
- Review and adapt to competitive market information
- Address any shortfalls to contractual commitments immediately and take the lead in developing solutions to mitigate issues
- Perform ad hoc administration duties as required to ensure optimal sales volume from the sales team

**About you**:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of B2B account management experience, ideally within the Financial Services industry
- Outstanding relationship builder with strong sales, influencing, and negotiating skills
- Knowledge of alternative assets, debt financing, small business lending an asset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior leadership, C-level management/customers
