**Requirements**:

- Advacned Emergency Medical Care Certificate
- Current certifications in good standing (CCP)
- Demonstrated clinical competence with general medicine and treatment
- Previous experience working in an outpatient clinic setting/ambulatory care environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interprofessional team, as well as independently
- Excellent physical assessment skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Experience working with diverse population groups
- Valid Drivers License

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to engage and educate patients and families
- Demonstrated record of good performance and acceptable attendance will be considered as part of the selection criteria
- Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or associations.
- This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for safety and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $38.00-$48.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Thunder Bay, ON P7B 5P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- valid certification for emergency response/first aid (required)
- Driver license (required)
- CCP (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-04-08
