Crescent Mechanical is seeking a highly motivated **HR Generalist **to join our growing team. to complete a wide range of contractual work in our head office at Stoney Creek servicing primarily the Steel and Food Industries.

**Job Type**: Full Time,

Salary Type: Hourly

Starting Wage**:$25 - $28 Per Hour - Based on experience**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and administer various HR programs and processes, including employee onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on various HR topics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Create schedules using Excel. Must be proficient with excel.
- Communicate all schedules and last-minute schedule changes with all our tradesmen and managers.
- Data input payroll hours weekly. Must be proficient with basic math skills.

**Experience**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience in
Human Resources, holding a CHRP designation a strong asset.
- 3-5+ years’ experience in HR generalist role. Experience in a manufacturing or unionized
environment a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing strategies and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management principles is a plus.

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

- Stoney Creek, ON L8E 2Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 3 years (preferred)
