Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man - Home Renovator to work as a Subcontractor. As a Handy Man, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of residential homes. This is a paid position with immediate availability.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing windows, doors, glass, screens etc.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any issues or potential hazards
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed
- Repair or replace damaged components, such as doors, windows, glass, etc.
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times

Qualifications:

- Proven 2 year experience as a Handy Man or similar role
- Solid knowledge of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients

**Skills**:

- Carpentry: Experience in basic carpentry tasks such as framing, installing cabinets, or repairing furniture.
- Plumbing: Knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe installation, leak detection, and fixture repairs is a plus.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues and find practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Time management: Effective prioritization skills to complete tasks within given deadlines.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 21 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
