**Position Description**:
The CHSS Center for Research and Quality is seeking to hire a Clinical Research Project Coordinator to work at The Hospital for Sick Children in the Labatt Family Heart Centre to assist with the coordination of a large multi-institutional study. The Clinical Research Project Coordinator works closely with study investigators, the CHSS Kirklin/Ashburn Fellow and other research staff to assist in study operations.

**Here's What You'll Get To Do**:

- Screen, recruit, consent and enroll patients from SickKids
- Perform data entry, data collection, chart abstraction and database management (Access and REDCap)
- Maintain regulatory compliance by managing study renewals, amendments and terminations
- Build relationships with site coordinators to promote continued engagement in CHSS studies and obtain required information
- REDCap database development and programming
- Provide support to other research team members, including the CHSS Kirklin/Ashburn research fellow
- Manage SharePoint document library
- Research-related administrative tasks

**Here's What You'll Need**:

- Bachelor's degree in science, social science or a health-related discipline; Master's degree strongly preferred
- 2-3 years' experience in clinical research
- Strong knowledge of research regulations including Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS), ICH Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices (ICH-GCP), N2 SOPs, and HIPAA and PHIPA regulations
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
- Ability to function independently yet collaboratively within a team
- Recognized certificate in clinical research (eg. CCRP or CRP) is an asset
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of REDCap, Microsoft Access, Epic and SharePoint is an asset
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives

**Employment Type**:Full-time temporary 1 year contract with modified benefits (i.e., health & dental).
