**Job Title: Kitchen Staff**
As a Kitchen Staff member, you will be responsible for supporting the culinary team in various food preparation and kitchen maintenance tasks. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the seamless functioning of our kitchen and ensure that our customers receive the highest quality dishes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
**Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring they are fresh, properly measured, and ready for cooking. Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality.
**Cooking and Assembly**: Assist the chefs in cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Adhere to proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
**Kitchen Maintenance**: Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times. Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate authority.
**Stock Management**: Monitor and manage food inventory to avoid shortages. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and managing food wastage effectively.
**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with fellow Kitchen Staff, Chefs, and other restaurant staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Communicate effectively and support each other during busy service periods.
**Adherence to Health and Safety Standards**: Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. Report any health or safety concerns to management immediately.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting is preferred but not required. We value a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
