We seek hard-working and responsible **Skilled labourers** to join our growing Petroleum Construction team.

**Job Type**:Full-Time, Long Term

**Travel**:Required

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment while performing tasks.
- Willingness to actively comply with all safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Load and unload, organize and inventory materials.
- Work with hand and power tools
- Measure and cut materials effectively.
- Assist with building and stripping forms.
- Train or apprentice under ticketed tradespeople, supervisors
- Assist and support carpenters, cement finishers, and petroleum mechanics.
- Lead and control housekeeping on work sites
- Effectively take direction and guidance
- Actively participate in morning toolbox and weekly safety meetings
- Good knowledge of construction materials, tools and machinery used.
- Work with or without close supervision
- Complete other duties as assigned and required.

**Position Requirements & Skills**
- Commitment to safety and following safe work practices.
- Effective English verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labour.
- Must be willing to travel and work out of town for extended periods when required.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests.

**Qualifications**
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract is considered an asset.
- Minimum two years of General commercial construction experience required.
- Petroleum construction experience is considered an asset.
- CSTS, fall protection, and an Elevated work platform are considered assets.
- Grade 12 or GED equivalent is considered an asset.
