Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles, and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. Job Details

Principal responsibilities you’ll be entrusted with include but are not limited to:

- Pricing and ticketing of spread trades, in corporate, provincial, government and agency debt
- Daily tasks include transacting with and servicing clients, distribute morning commentaries and commercial paper offers to clients, trade reporting, booking trades and reconciling any trade discrepancies
- Execute and work toward managing the desk’s money market operations. Functions such as bond re-purchase (repo) business, funding, and products such as bankers’ acceptances, commercial paper, T-bills, and asset backed commercial paper
- Develop models for RV analysis in all asset classes in the Canadian fixed income markets
- Execute and work toward managing the desk’s bond forward derivative business
- Develop client flow reporting which is used internally to strategize sales focus and highlight potential weaknesses
- Utilize analysis to generate trade ideas and identify value within the Canadian fixed income market
- The potential to have dialogue directly with the client base

Job Requirements
- Have a combination of strong financial/analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and be adept at financial modeling and valuation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills are mandatory as the job requires you to speak directly with clients.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with others (both with internal and external stakeholders)
- Highly-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a proactive manner
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail is a MUST
- Experience with Python, SQL, VBA and Bloomberg is a plus
