**Systems Analyst**
**Summary/Purpose**:
**About Graymont**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and assess existing business systems and integration requirements for in-house and cloud based systems.
- Plan, schedule, and perform regular software upgrades and security updates.
- Create system specifications and diagrams to document systems and technical requirements.
- Coordinate and perform in-depth testing for new and modified systems.
- Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines.
**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Experience Microsoft SQL Server databases and servers.
- Experience with Informatica or other data integration products would be an asset.
- Experience working with real-time data collection systems.
- Proficiency writing complex SQL queries.
- Proficiency with a variety of programming languages, including Powershell, Python, Javascript,.NET, Visual Basic, Visual studio, HTML5.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
**Qualifications**:
- A degree in Computer Science, or equivalent IT education and experience.
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
***Working Conditions**:
- This position will be based out of Graymont's newly renovated head office in Richmond, BC under a hybrid/flexible work-from-home and in-office arrangement.
- Responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.
- Ability to travel occasionally on company business, including between Canada and the US and potentially internationally.
