Some of our audiovisual solutions include videoconferencing systems, digital signage solutions, video walls, split-meeting room configurations, and more. Come join our awesome Toronto team as **Junior Installer** and be a part of our story Tasks include pulling cable, installing connectors, terminating cable ends, mounting speakers, projectors and screens. This is a Junior Installer position and will be based out of our Markham branch, so applicants with all levels of experience may apply.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work under guidance from Senior and Lead technicians on AV projects
- Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables
- Hang monitors, projectors, mics, speakers on wall and ceiling using anchors, Unistrut and mounts (guidance/training provided)
- Review Bill of Materials, Drawings, Project Scope and prepare for site activities
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Load and unload AV equipment at shop and worksite
- Willing to work overtime as needed (time in lieu) to meet promises to clients
- Willing to work out of town, overnight travel may be required from time to time

**Preferred Skills and Abilities**:

- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work and think independently to meet deadlines
- Ability to operate hand and power tools (drill)
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
- Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Any education in Electronics or related field preferred
- Any Networking/IT background preferred

**Safety**:

- Bondable, clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
- Any trade certifications are an asset: WHMIS, fall arrest, scissor lift and other safety Certifications
