**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience as a Technical Sales Specialist in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience in large-scale deployments, developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, PaaS, and container orchestration systems.
- Experience as a technical sales specialist or solutions specialist.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Provide in-depth enterprise infrastructure/cloud modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
- Structure and execute prototyping workshops to prove out proposed new architectures, develop best practices, and document blocking requirements for prioritization with developing.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events.
