**HRS Industrial Contracting - Carpenter Supervisor**

Our client** HRS Industrial Contracting **is looking for a** Carpenter Supervisor **to join their team

Formally established in January of 2013, **HRS Industrial Contracting **is a family-run business located in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. We built our reputation installing and upgrading industrial and manufacturing systems. Today, we have expanded our contracting services to include both residential and commercial projects.

**What You Will Be Doing**

The **Carpenter Supervisor **will be responsible for supervising and organizing work projects and staff across multiple work sites. You will be working closely with management to quote new projects, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Instructing and directing laborer’s and other construction helpers
- Following blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Working on the construction of new home builds and the repair of existing home renovation projects.
- Installing structures and fixtures such as windows and molding
- Constructing building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Helping erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
- Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

**What You Will Bring**
- Strong leadership, communication and delegation skills
- Able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and within tight deadlines
- Must have reliable transportation, valid NS drivers license, and basic carpentry tools
- Red seal preferred, but not required
- Certifications, e.g. Fall arrest, Scaffolding, preferred but willing to train
- Ability to climb, lift, and complete the physical demands required for the job
- Ability to work in all weather conditions at construction sites
