**JOB SUMMARY**

Overall responsibility for managing and scheduling labour and production across multiple shifts; daily planning of all operational activities; supervising and directing work performance; distribution of workload to employees; overseeing and meeting KPIs and SLAs; managing safety performance; implement and maintain quality standards and procedures; maintain housekeeping standards. Ensures and monitors adherence to established Company, safety, and quality standards, SOPs, policies and procedures.

**BACKGROUND / QUALIFICATIONS**
- College education or equivalent diploma and 3-5 years related experience
- Proven ability to supervise employees and manage production in a warehouse setting
- Forklift certification and experience
- Fluency in computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be capable of working in both an office and warehouse environment
- Must be adaptable, able to learn quickly in a fast paced, changing work environment
- Must be competent and knowledgeable of the Ontario Health and Safety Act

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

1) Manage all inbound and outbound functions involved in receiving, processing, production and shipping

2) Meet regularly with warehouse leaders to assign work, assist in scheduling priorities, address issues regarding employees and convey concerns from other departments regarding processes

3) Monitor daily, weekly and monthly metrics such as KPIs, SLAs, quotas, non-conformance, turnaround times to trouble shoot issues and direct continuous improvement processes

4) Work with warehouse leaders to conduct regular performance appraisals and reinforce standard policies and procedures; initiate continuous improvement in all production and shipping processes

5) Assign workloads to meet all client and company requirements

6) Ensure effective management of inventory in warehouse

7) Review and analyze individual and group performance

8) Facilitate the investigation of orders with assistance from the warehouse leaders, regarding issues in any stage of the production flow, including those orders that have been shipped

9) Maintain appropriate staffing levels in all departments on all shifts by working with HR

10) Work with warehouse leaders and HR to carry out various disciplinary actions as required.

11) Investigate and resolve quality issues

12) Ability to multi-task and re-assign workload to meet fluctuating order volume requirements

13) Communicate with the Print Room to schedule priorities for the production floor

14) Work with transportation carriers to maintain positive relationships and resolve shipping issues

15) Attend meetings to trouble shoot issues, provide input regarding upcoming programs, and provide regular updates to other departments

16) Responsible to ensure all employees recognize job hazards and follow established environmental, health and safety procedures

17) Other duties as assigned
