The DAYS INN KINGSTON is looking for an energetic Housekeeping Attendant to join the team
- Must have open availability. Weekends are a must.
- Must be physically capable, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms. Performs routine duties of all common areas including corridors, stairwells, pool area, public washrooms, exterior grounds.
- Room Attendants promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
- Makes bed.
- Dusts the room and furniture.
- Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
- Cleans the bathroom.
- Cleans the closet.
- Vacuums.
- Checks and secures the rooms.
- Replenish amenities according to the operational standards.
- Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required
- Cleans guest bathroom/bed rooM/Floor corridor.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his or her work area.
- Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area.
- Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
- Additional duties as requested.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-03-25
