**Lead Hand**:
The Lead Hand is responsible for the smooth and safe operation of their team. This hands-on position is great for someone who enjoys working in a team and leading by example. As an intermediate role between employees and management the Lead Hand is the first point of contact for concerns involving the team. As part of this role, you will coach, mentor, train, organize team responsibilities, and resolve issues while ensuring customer and production requirements are met.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside and supervise employees and production.
- Ensure products are assembled and packaged according to required specifications.
- Ensure team members comply with safety regulations, identify safety training needs, participate in accident investigations, and see to a timely resolution of safety concerns.
- Train new employees.
- Ensure working areas are clean; enforce housekeeping.
- Ensure workers arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
- Keep management informed of success and issues involving your team.
- Arrive before the team to prepare for the day and ensure all work is closed out at the end of the day.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Lead 5S implementation in work area.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of High-school education.
- Team Lead experience, in an assembly environment preferred.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, responsible manner.
- Excellent conflict management skills.
- Adaptable, with the ability to adjust to changing demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
